Although a relative newcomer to real estate, Licensed Salesperson Miranda Ritchie is no stranger to the Mangere Bridge community where she lives. Her background in sales, customer relations and the travel industry are also valuable assets in her role with award-winning agent Jared Hards in the Mangere Bridge Ray White office. Miranda’s inclusion on the team will be bringing a fresh, feminine energy and perspective for local buyers and sellers in this flourishing region of Auckland.
Miranda grew up in east Auckland and carved out an early career in fashion retail. For five years she was promoted through the ranks at various Jeanswest outlets culminating in branch management at a relatively young age. In early 2013 she was accepted into Air New Zealand working as a flight crew member on their short-haul routes. She was quickly promoted into a leadership position as a Deputy Service Manager on long-haul flights travelling all over the world. During this time, she and her husband purchased their first home in Mangere Bridge and her keen interest in real estate was born. So, in 2020 when COVID created an opportunity for Miranda to leave the airline and pivot into a new career, real estate was her number one choice.
Miranda has outstanding problem-solving skills gained from many years dealing with the public. Confident, and gregarious with a capacity to quickly connect, Miranda loves a high energy work environment and is calm under pressure. She is able to confront a crisis head on and is tenacious and responsive to people’s needs. All these qualities ideally equip Miranda for real estate selling.
Outside of work Miranda and her husband can often be seen walking their two beloved pugs. During lockdown Miranda became closely involved in the local foodbank and family support initiatives – something she enjoyed and plans to continue with.
She sums it up succinctly. “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”.
